These scent absorbent beads are impregnated with individual Doe-N-Estrus urine and then each bottle is filled with Young Buck urine which are provided by selected whitetail deer from the Bust-A-Buck deer herd ,these scented beads then can be applied by shaking the desired amount onto a scrape while applying the beads the liquid urine is also being applied for an extremely long lasting scrape. Oct 28th I applied Mock Scrape Madness to pre existing scrape located
15 yards from my tree stand beside a well traveled deer trail between
bedding areas. On Oct 29th that afternoon I had a mid 160's whitetail
come and work the scrape hard for 3-5 min. The tree I was in was small
and forked where stand was located. My cameraman was in between me and
the deer so no shot was presented. I had two 140 class bucks also come
by and work the same scrape. I chose to pass on them as I know there are
bigger bucks in the area.

30th I freshened up the scrape again with Mock Scrape Madness this
morning and I was back in the same tree. It was colder with winds 10-15
MPH. I was hesitant to hunt same tree with those wind conditions, but
the wind direction was perfect as it would be blowing my scent into the
field behind me. I was hunting the dark period of the moon phase and had
a very hot scrape with in bow range which helped boost my confidence.
Deer
activity was down from day before, but had several does utilizing the
trail that morning. I told cameraman I had to take my son trick or
treating that night so we were going to be there till noon. Well we had a
young but tall 8 point come by and work the scrape that morning. He
worked the scrape then turned and went back to where he had came from.
Twenty minutes later I catch movement from same direction that the young
8 point left. I can tell it's a good buck and a shooter. I don't even
look at his rack again. I just start concentrating on my first shooting
lane, as I only have two from this direction. He pauses on his own in
the first one. Thank you god. I ask cameraman you on him? I hear ya, at
that second he lowers and turns his head blocking his
vitals. I wait for his head to clear for a clean shot. But he starts to
continue down the trail. I ready for the next shooting lane. Only a
couple more steps and he's there. I grunt at him stopping him in his
tracks, and I let the arrow fly. I made a perfect shot right behind the
shoulder, double lunging him. He only managed to make it 38 yards before
falling over. At this point I knew he was a good buck. Didn't know how
many points he had or what he would score. I was thinking mid 170's. I
was down and too him before my cameraman could get the camera off the
camera arm. When I got to him I knew he was much bigger, telling my
cameraman to hurry up. He grossed 193+" and is my biggest deer to date.
The Mock Scrape Madness turned a hot scrape on fire. Before using it we
had not seen a deer use the scrape in day light.

Doe-N-Estrus Gel: is collected from individual Doe as they show signs of being in estrus and then converted into a Gel. Not all whitetails go in their estrus cycles at the same time and if a Doe is not bread it could go into another Estrus Cycle up to 28 days later during the Post Rut period .One method is to apply to several scrapes in or around the selected hunting area and apply on branches at least three feet off the ground to really put the scent in the air so that any buck that smells this down wind will be forced to investigate and come in seeking out this hot doe.
